Hampshire based, Parsons Construction Ltd (PC Ltd), has purchased Barley House, Duncan Road, Park Gate, Southampton. The property is a two storey modern office building currently occupied by two local companies. PC Ltd intends to redevelop part of the site providing 10,000 sq.ft. of new accommodation. Work commences in April 2006 with project duration of 6 months. PC Ltd, in conjunction with the appointed agent Primmer Olds, is looking to lease the new accommodation immediately.

Case Study: Mill Court, The Sawmills, Durley

September 2005 saw the completion of the final phase of redevelopment of the old sawmills site at Durley, Hampshire by PC Developments. Working in conjunction with well respected local construction firm, PC Services, the five new office units are now ready for sale/to let with one unit already being pre-sold to a local surveying firm. The regeneration of this brownfield site began in 2001 with the completion of the first phase of development at Mill Court in which six office units were made available for sale/to let. The building design has been conscious of the local area using conventional commercial style building construction with steel frames and brick elevations beneath a pitched roof.
